Shortly after the break up of the original Lawyers which was founded by Mike O'Neil and Stephen Whitman early 1979 with an original line up of Steve Whitman (Lead Vocals) a front man with a captivating stage presence and a screaming vocal range from the gods - Mike O'Neil on Guitar and vocals,
Randy Rand (Master of the Airwaves, Autograph and what was the name of the band with Randy Castillo?) a Monster Bassist with a stage presence that would scare you, then you've got Glen Sherba on Lead Guitar & vocals who Composed most of the original material and Ray Dibaco (Super Chief) on Drums. That Lawyers was originally a long hair power pop band with a love song feel and a hard rock flavor. With songs such as Too Young, Sheik & Dance(a song about a lonely Sheik who had a Camel named Dance), Retainer and Love Come Quick. The Original Lawyers performed along side of such acts as Cheap Trick, Journey and Headfast just to name a few. Then separated shortly after the Journey show at the Las Vegas convention center. After a few months it was time to rock and Mike O'Neil was the prowl to get back on track and start up a new act as possible. Soon he would ran into a good friend Andrew Chudd who had been in the recording industry since he was in diapers, well at least since there was Nat King Cole. Whom his father Lew Chudd owner of Imperial Records. had managed and recorded along with Many other talents. Andy was in the midst of putting together a production company that's primary goal was promoting concerts and manage bands. had already and couple of bands under his wings one that comes to mind was Cow Jazz a popular country act in the northwest and Rocky Mountain states. So Andy and I set out to form a super act.. So Mike O'Neil after touring the US for 10 years had ran into allot of talent out there on that treacherous road. One night in Denver he went into a 3000 seater where there was a band by the name Steppenwolf and there was Steve Riley from Boston Mass on the drums just rock'in the joint. So there's the drummer!
